Union City Police Officer Arrested On Two Felony Charges

A Union City police officer was arrested on two felony charges, including possession of stolen property, and providing firearms to a convicted felon.

Canadian County Sheriff's deputies arrested Officer Scottie D. Brothers Tuesday afternoon at his home in Union City.

According to the Sheriff's office, the arrest came after a lengthy investigation by the Canadian County Sheriff's office, and Oklahoma City Police Department.

Brothers has been transported to the Canadian County jail.

The Sheriff's Office will be hosting a news conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday concerning the arrest. News 9 and News9.com will keep you updated.
