Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle collision involving an Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy's vehicle on Interstate 35 in Edmond.
According to police, it happened at about 8 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of I-35 near Covell Road in Edmond.
The deputy was not injured in the crash.
The other vehicle rolled off the interstate following the crash. That driver had to be pulled out of the car after being pinned inside for a short time. He has been transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
News 9 spoke to James Barnett, who helped free that driver whose car went off the road and into some trees.
"He was barley breathing, unstable and his legs were pinned up in the door, and just bleeding real bad," Barnett said.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Authorities have not identified anyone involved in the wreck.
