Crimestoppers Lead Chickasha Police To Narcotics Arrests

Chickasha police received a tip through Grady County Crimestoppers Tuesday afternoon about narcotics being stored in a home.

According to the report, the tipper provided the address of Dustin and Kayla Pierce, 301 S. 16th, as the residence housing the narcotics.

Chickasha police and the District Attorney Drug Task went to the home and discovered an abundance of narcotics and weapons.

Dustin Pierce, 34, was arrested and charged with Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession with Intent and Possession of Firearms after Conviction During Probation.

Kayla Pierce, 25, was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

Derek Kennell, 34, was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

According to police, they later received a tip that led them to another narcotics bust at 1625 W. Montana.

Jeffrey Wynn, 46, and Janice Wynn, 47, were charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute.

"We believe the total weight to be over 10 pounds with a street amount around $50,000," said Major Moore with the Chickasha police. "I am thankful to have Crimestoppers in our community and for the tipster(s) that called in to report this. I am very pleased with the teamwork between the DA's Task Force and our officers."
