As investigators try to figure out why a man died in police custody, we now have cell phone video from the incident.

The video was taken by Luis Rodriguez's wife while Moore police tried gaining control over him. And on Tuesday, the Rodriguez's attorney released that video.

"Luis, are you okay? He's fine," you can hear on the video. Nair Rodriguez records five officers on top of her husband as they try to handcuff him.

"Papa! Is he okay? He doesn't move," she says in the video.

The big question is what happened before the cell phone recording started.

The officer on the video says, "its domestic abuse, we came here to investigate it."

Chief Jerry Stillings with the Moore Police Department echoed that after he watched the video last week.

"The officers do their best to get the subject under control," Stillings said. "I didn't see anything inappropriate on the cell phone video."

But Lunahi Rodriguez tells us a different story about what happened.

"They pushed him to the ground and that's when five guys got on top of him, beating him ruthlessly," Lunahi said. "Just pow, pow, pow, even with knees. When they put him on the stretcher, we knew he was dead."

The question now is whether other surveillance cameras in the parking lot at the Warren Theater caught the incident. OSBI told News 9 the video would not be released. We also asked the theater for the video, they say they do not have a copy.
