An Oklahoma City man is in custody, Thursday, after an investigation for an alleged murder-for-hire plot.

The Oklahoma City Police Department, along with the FBI, served a warrant at the home of 30-year-old Preston Rhoads, in the 11000 block of N. McKinley Ave., Thursday afternoon.

The joint operation caused some neighborhood streets to be temporarily shut down as investigators removed several items from Rhoads' home.

Authorities have not said what items they have removed from the home or how they learned of the murder-for-hire plot, only that the investigation started two days ago. Rhoads has no prior convictions.

No other information has been released at this time.
