A Yukon man is hoping a video surveillance system he recently installed around his house helps police catch the man who trashed his house.
Police say it happened Tuesday around 10:30 a.m. Brian Taulman showed News 9 video of a man who knocked on Taulmans' back door. The man then shattered the glass on the backdoor using the butt end of a BB gun, and entered the house.
Taulman says when the intruder broke the glass, he cut himself because he left a trail of blood everywhere and stayed for about 20 minutes before he left.
Taulman says the odd thing is that the intruder didn't take anything. He says police now have the surveillance video, and blood evidence.
"They took photos, finger prints, they bagged the towel he cleaned up his blood with in the bathroom for DNA," he said.
Police tell News 9 they are investigating.
