We have rain back in the forecast!
Chances will begin this evening in the panhandle and northwest Oklahoma as a front arrives. Storms will develop in Kansas and may move into northwest Oklahoma, and if they do, they'll likely become severe. Large hail and damaging wind will be the main threats.
Overnight, strong winds will likely fuel whatever storms are ongoing, causing them to spread throughout northern Oklahoma and possibly into Oklahoma City as well. No guarantee we'll see showers or storms in the metro, but there's a possibility!
Looking ahead, we will really warm up on Tuesday and Wednesday before our next storm system arrives late week into the weekend. There will, once again, be the potential for some strong/severe storms and heavy rainfall.
That's how it looks right now. Hello June!
