Clear skies and light winds tonight with lows dropping into the upper 50s and low 60s. Then we are warming back up on Wednesday as highs climb into the upper 80s and low 90s. Winds will be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph.
Our next storm will approach from the west late Wednesday night. A few strong storms may develop in far western Oklahoma late in the evening hours, but more widespread rain and storms are expected to move in from southwest Kansas overnight. A few strong to severe storms will be possible for most of the state with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. Localized flash flooding will also be possible. Another .5" to 2" of rain is possible by Thursday evening when this system exits to the east.
