Police Arrest Two After Chase Ends In Crash In NE OKC

Police have arrested two suspects after a high-speed pursuit ended in a crash in northeast Oklahoma City, Monday morning.

Police have arrested two suspects after a high-speed pursuit ended in a crash in northeast Oklahoma City, Monday morning.

According to police, just before 8:30 a.m., officers tried to pull over a stolen SUV on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Penn. But the suspect took off. That's when the pursuit began.

The suspects eventually crashed the SUV into a fence near the Kilpatrick Turnpike and Eastern.

One suspect was taken into custody following the crash. However, a second suspect took off into the nearby woods.

Police set up a perimeter in the area to search for that suspect. Just after 9 a.m., that suspect came out of the woods just east of Kelley in the area, and surrendered.
