Highs Below Normal For First Weekend Of August

August is HERE! That must mean college football season is right around the corner. ;]

First of all, how about we take a moment and be thankful we're nowhere NEAR the temps of 2012. YIKES.

The first weekend of August looks GORGEOUS. Highs will stay well below normal in Oklahoma City and all across the state today and tomorrow. A light east breeze will keep it pleasant during the afternoon. Lots of sunshine, too!

However, the 90s aren't far behind. We'll have them in western Oklahoma tomorrow and across the state Monday and Tuesday. High temps will slowly increase as the week wears on.

The way it looks now, rain chances are slim. A weak disturbance will pass to our northeast midweek and bring a very slight chance of rain to the area. Chances hold at 10 percent for our viewing area. Better rain chances for northeast Oklahoma.
