It was a warm weekend across Oklahoma with highs in the 80s to low 90s. The average high temperature this time of the year is 95 degrees, which we’ll likely be closer to later this week.
It will be getting hotter this week, but there still will not be any triple digit heat. Comparing it back to 2011 and 2012, this summer has been in a walk in the park with some good rains in June and July.
Looking ahead to our weather this week, we’re expecting the heat to build in with plenty of sunshine and hotter temperatures. Thankfully nothing to the extreme of 2012, as there will be some small rain chances by Wednesday and Thursday.
