The Labor Day weekend continues with hot, humid and windy conditions! If you're out on the area lakes today, mind the chop. Moderate to heavy chop is expected through tomorrow.
High temperatures tomorrow will continue to be hot, despite the presence of a weak frontal boundary. However, the front may spark scattered showers and storms late Monday through the day Tuesday.
High pressure will return by the middle of the week. Hot, dry and sunny.
Looking ahead to next weekend, there are indications of another storm system moving into Oklahoma. If it makes it, we'll enjoy cooler temperatures and statewide rain chances. However, it's not a sure thing right now, so we'll continue to monitor it.
Until next weekend, though, lots of heat!
