A cold front moving through central Oklahoma will keep a chance for showers and thunderstorms going across the state this evening and overnight. Best chances for more widely scattered thunderstorms will take place in southeastern Oklahoma. Cooler air coming in behind the front will make for a chilly start to Saturday morning with lows in the upper 40s.
Rain chances gradually decrease early Saturday. Skies will remain mostly cloudy for the first half of our weekend with highs around 60 degrees and a north wind between 10 and 20 mph. We see a few more breaks in the clouds early Sunday and with the wind shifting to the south highs should make it into the upper 70s.
Our next chance for showers and thunderstorms will hold off until late Sunday night and into Monday. This will help to usher in cooler air for a couple of days.
