Cold arctic air has spilled over the southern plains and we will continue to feel its chill Tuesday night. Wind will rip out of the north between 10 and 20 mph with temperatures dropping to the low 20's with wind chills mainly in the teens overnight and into Wednesday morning. Skies remain mostly clear.
Skies remain mostly sunny on Wednesday, but temperatures won't make it out of the mid-30's with wind chills in the teens and 20's.
Clouds increase on Friday ahead of our next storm system. As of now, we have the potential of seeing a wintry mix of rain and snow on Saturday. Temperatures return to more seasonal numbers with highs in the mid and upper 40's by early next week. Stay tuned.
