Skies will remain clear Monday night as high pressure slides across the southern plains. Wind will become light and with even just a little bit of snow cover left, temperatures will be bitterly cold overnight and into Tuesday morning.
We will start out in the middle teens Tuesday morning. Full sunshine is expected again, and with a wind shift to the southwest, we should be a little warmer. Highs will climb to the mid-40s Tuesday afternoon.
A weak cool front arrives on Wednesday, but will provide very little in the way of clouds and will have no effect of temperatures. Temperatures will be on the rise through late week. By Thursday mid-50s are back in the forecast.
The weekend is shaping up to be more active. Temperatures will be warm enough that showers and thunderstorms are expected this time around.
