Authorities Search The Metro For Stolen Property Suspect

According to police, a wanted man bailed on foot from a stolen car on Friday afternoon during a traffic stop in the metro. Authorities said two women, also in the stolen vehicle during the traffic stop, were arrested at the scene.

Drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle, according to law enforcement.

Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD), Warr Acres Police Department and Bethany Police Department searched the area near NW 19th Street and Council Road Friday around 3 p.m.

OCPD also had a unit in the air, searching for the suspect, Carson Welch. Police said Welch has warrants out of Oklahoma County for stolen property.
