What a crazy-active weather pattern we've been in for the past few days! Guess what? That trend not only looks to continue, but it looks like it'll intensify in the coming days.
Wednesday night, the bulk of the rain will shift east of I-35. Northern Oklahoma has a slight chance to see more sleet mixed in with the rain, but with temperatures just above freezing, travel impacts will stay at a minimum.
Low's Wednesday night, across the state will drop into the mid to upper 30's with a few 40's.
Overnight, the heaviest precipitation will stay north while the rest of the state contends with mainly drizzle.
Highs will be a bit warmer Thursday, but a northeast wind will keep the chill in the air. The clouds and drizzle will hang around as well.
Looking toward the weekend, Saturday will feature partly cloudy skies and temps near 50.
Sunday, the clouds return along with the chance of drizzle and highs back into the 40's.
Another chance of rain arrives on Monday with highs in the mid 50's.
It will cool off on Tuesday and Christmas Eve as highs drop into the 40's with a strong northwest wind.
Christmas Day, right now, will be mostly sunny with well-above normal highs in the 50's and 60's.
After Christmas, it'll feel more like winter.
