The ‘All Clear' has been given after a suspicious device was found at a truck stop near downtown Oklahoma City, Tuesday afternoon.
The Oklahoma City Police Bomb Squad was called out to the scene at the Checkers Truck Stop, located near E. Reno Ave. and MLK Ave., just after 12:30 p.m. The device was located near one of the diesel gas pumps.
A bomb-detecting robot was deployed to scan the object. Investigators eventually determined that the device was not dangerous.
Authorities shut down Reno Ave. in both directions while the bomb squad worked the scene. Everything was cleared just before 2 p.m.
