Oklahoma City fire crews rushed to put out an early morning fire on the 3700 block of N.W. 13th Street.

The boarded up home is just west of the Portland Avenue Baptist Church. Fire crews got the call around 12:40 a.m. Thursday. They believe it started outside on the stairwell.

It took just five minutes to knock the fire down, and it does not appear to have caused any significant damage to the homes nearby, according to fire officials.

Firefighters also had to clear the home of items left inside. What caused the fire is still under investigation.
