Old Fashioned Wedge Salad with Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing
1 head of iceberg lettuce, cut into 1/4
8 strips bacon, sliced and cooked crisp
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup blue cheese
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1 teaspoon tarragon, chopped
1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 cup half and half
Place the iceberg wedges on a plate. In a small bowl mix together the mayonnaise, blue cheese, chives tarragon, Worchestershire sauce, vinegar and half-and-half. Spoon a dollop of dressing over each wedge and sprinkle with bacon bits and serve. Store the leftover dressing in a mason jar and keep it refrigerated for one week.
