Who's ready for some rain? There's a lot of it expected for this week.
Sunday, highs reach the upper 70s and lower 80s with a strong south wind up to 30 mph. There will be an opportunity for some showers and storms across the state, with the best chance out in western Oklahoma. Any storms that develop Sunday could produce half-dollar size hail and wind gusts up to 70 mph.
The heavier rain moves in overnight into Monday morning, bringing a good soaking to nearly the entire state, but especially central and southern Oklahoma. Monday, rainfall totals could reach two inches locally.
The good news gets better, rain chances last through the end of the week. Check out the potential rainfall through Monday, April 20th. I consider this a "best-case scenario" so we'll check back in a week and see how much has fallen.
