With gas prices reaching record highs, auto makers were showing off their new hybrid vehicles at the International Auto Show at the State Fairgrounds this weekend.
Although hybrid cars may save a lot of money on gas, it was the exotic sports cars, sweetest sedans and trucks that caught most people's eyes.
"We can't ride horses anymore, so you're stuck driving around in your car," Marion Holloway said. "It's an extension of your personality anymore."
Michael Goforth said he checked out some of the shows hybrid cars.
"The fuel economy for the city is pretty impressive," he said. "But, it's not enough that I would buy a hybrid, right now."
