The bodies of two men were found near the Grace Rescue Mission in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday morning, police said.
At about 7:30 a.m., a man staying at the rescue mission went on 2205 Exchange Ave. went to get the morning newspaper when he came across a man's body propped up against a fence, said authorities. The man notified a security guard who went out to investigate (click on the video clip to the right to hear what security guard said).
"At this point in time it is unknown if these two deaths are related," Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Paco Balderrama said.
While searching for clues regarding the first body, Oklahoma City Police found another body 200 yards away in the stockyards.
Police said they have seen trauma on the bodies and are treating the cases as homicides.
No names were immediately released.
