A Grady County woman may never be able to walk again after being injured in last week's ice storm.
A tree branch weighed down with ice broke off and hit her in the back of the neck, causing injury to her spine. Michelle Watson is now paralyzed from the neck down.
Watson was injured Monday while delivering water to a neighbor in Ninnekah.
"I had multiple fractures on my leg, and I've also been told I won't walk again," said Watson.
Michelle Watson remains in the intensive care unit at Integris Baptist.
An account has been set up for contributions through the First National Bank and Trust Company in Chickasha due to the Watson family's lack of health insurance.
