Second grassfire sparked near Cyril

A structure fire sparked a grass fire Saturday evening in Caddo County. Firefighters who were fighting a nearby blaze in Lawton switched their efforts to the fire 2 miles north of Highway 8 in Cyril.

CYRIL, Okla. - A structure fire sparked a grassfire Saturday evening in Caddo County.

Firefighters who were fighting a nearby blaze that burned 10-12 square miles near Lawton switched their efforts to the fire 2 miles north of State Highway 8* in Cyril, SkyNEWS 9 Pilot Mason Dunn reported at 6:20 p.m.

The fire was burning an area about as big as a football field, Dunn reported.
