A batch of rain showers could bring an end to unseasonably warm temperatures across Oklahoma on Monday.
The National Weather Service said showers and thunderstorms are possible Monday in eastern Oklahoma, with a slight chance for rain in west-central parts of the state. High temperatures are expected to range from the low 60s in northwestern Oklahoma to the mid-70s in the southwest.
For Monday night, temperatures are expected to drop sharply with a continuing chance for rain and perhaps even snow in northwestern Oklahoma. Temperatures are expected to dip as low as the upper 20s in the Panhandle. Southeastern Oklahoma will have lows in the mid-50s.
More rain is possible in eastern Oklahoma on Tuesday, while sunny conditions are to return in the west. Highs will range from the upper 40s in northwestern parts of the state to the low 60s in the southeast.
Clear to partly cloudy conditions are expected Wednesday, with highs in the 50s.
