Auditor's trial postponed

The criminal trial for state auditor Jeff McMahan is being postponed.

McMahan and his wife, Lori, were supposed to go to trial on March 3, but a judge agreed to delay it until June 2.

The couple was indicted by a federal grand jury last month on nine counts, including conspiracy and mail fraud.

McMahan has refused to step down but has turned over day-to-day operations to his office assistant.
