An earthquake shook southern Mexico Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 6.4 on the Rickter Scale.
The quake shook the region of Oaxaca, Mexico at 6:50 a.m. local time. The state lies on the coast of southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean.
The Mexican National Seismic Network said there are no reports of injuries or major damage at this point.
