Oklahoma prisons need repairs, expansion

According to an independent audit performed at prisons across the state, Oklahoma prisons are in need of repairs and an expansion.

Correction officials tell us state prisons are nearly 99 percent full. The officials have suggested bond issues to pay for the needed upgrades, but state lawmakers aren't convinced and say they doubt a bond plan can be put together during the current legislative session.
