NEWS 9 and the National Weather Service
A strong cold front is set to move south into northern Oklahoma Tuesday night, reaching near Interstate 40 by daybreak.
Northern Oklahoma will have very cool conditions by sunrise Wednesday, with temperatures falling well into the 20s. Wind chills will make the temperature feel even lower, closer to 10 degrees.
Light freezing drizzle will also be possible over western, central and northern Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon and into Wednesday night. A mix of light freezing drizzle, light freezing rain and sleet are possible on Thursday and Friday as well.
Precipitation could change to snow late Thursday night or Friday morning.
Ice and snow may lead to hazardous travel conditions in some areas, especially Wednesday night through Thursday night. Currently, it appears the precipitation amounts will be much lighter than what fell during the storm last weekend.
