Now that you've watched the story, you can see what an exciting lesson it is for Oklahoma students! The K20 Center's "K20: Improving Science Education across Oklahoma" program is making a difference in the minds of these young kids while they dream about their future. We spoke to one little boy who decided after a few science experiments that he wants to be a scientist! The hands on learning approach is inspiring children across Oklahoma.
K20 programs have impacted more than 500 Oklahoma schools, reaching more than 1,500 school leaders, 3,800 educators and 48,000 students. And the programs range from lessons on engineering and biotechnology to mathematics and elementary science. Each year, K20 picks 8-10 schools to implement programs.
