Carney is having a chili cook-off Saturday to help build a football stadium for Carney High School.

Ruth's Café will host the event with live music by Cedar Ridge at 3 p.m., along with special guest judge Heisman Trophy winner Jason White.

There will also be a raffle for an orange, black and white afghan, a grilling tool set, and a gas grill. All donations will go toward building a football stadium for Carney High School. The school is attempting to start a football program for the first time in 90 years. See related story by clicking HERE
