Oklahoman ranks 68th in Forbes' billionaire list

Oil and gas guru, George Kaiser, ranks among the top 100 in Forbes' 2008 list of the World's Billionaires.

Reigning from Tulsa, Okla. Kaiser holds the 68th spot on the list, at a net worth of $11 billion.

This is not the first year for Kaiser to be on the list; in recent years, he ranked 140 in 2006 and 80 in 2007.

The Harvard graduate gained financial momentum in 1969 when he took over the oil and gas business his parents created. Now Kaiser's list of business endeavors includes the Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, Bank of Oklahoma, Excelerate Energy and the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
