I grew up on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico so I know a thing or two about wild weather. Summertime thunderstorms are a daily occurrence and let's not forget about hurricanes. It can get crazy, but I'll admit - Oklahoma, you have Texas beat in the wild weather department.
In the past day or two I think I've experienced all four seasons. We went from warm & sunny weather on Thursday to nasty thunderstorms with a jaw-dropping display of lightning on Friday night. We woke up this morning to almost winter-like conditions with cloudy, gray skies and a bitterly cold wind. Fast forward to this evening and I just walked out the station to clear skies and spring-like temperatures. And my family and friends back home continue to wonder why I'm constantly under the weather.
