Charges filed in school bus assault

Assault and battery charges have been filed against two teenagers in connection with an assault on another teen on a Glenpool school bus in late January. 

Susan Witt with the Tulsa County District Attorney's office says charges were filed Thursday. 

The alleged assault took place on January 31. 

The alleged assault was caught on a school bus video camera.  The 13-year-old victim told Glenpool Police he was held down in a seat and punched in his head several times by another teen.  A second suspect allegedly burned the victim. 

The suspects are 14 and 16-years-old.

The Glenpool school district turned the video tape over to Glenpool Police earlier this month.

The case will be heard in Tulsa County Juvenile Court.
