Across the country congregations gathered Thursday for the 57th annual National Day of Prayer.
National Day of Prayer is for all religious beliefs. The U.S. Congress designated today as the day for all religions to come together in prayer.
The National Day of Prayer Task Force is not a government agency, but does coordinate many of the day's activities.
