Work on the second phase of OU scoreboard improvements began this week and should be ready for the fall football season.
A new video scoreboard that is about 33 feet high by 117 feet wide will be installed in the south end zone. Click on the interactive map below to learn more about the upgrades.
On Wednesday, workers began dismantling the 11-year-old scoreboard to make room for the new board.
The new larger screen is still smaller than rival Longhorns' Godzillatron. The University of Texas' screen is more than 130 feet wide and 55 feet tall.
"We wanted something that would fit our stadium," OU Spokesman Kenny Mossman said. "I don't' think anybody will complain about the size."
