Authorities said 22-year-old Daniel Guerrero, a reputed gang member, shot and killed a teenager in 2005 and has been hiding in Oklahoma City since.

Authorities are now looking for Guerrero, who's also known as Larry Flores and "Little Stomper," after he reportedly sought revenge when his brother was attacked in 2005.

"They rolled up on my victim, assaulted him and when he was running away shot him between five to seven times with a 22-caliber rifle," said Detective David Carver of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

News of his death shocked the L.A. community and his family, because the victim was a high school athlete with no connection to the previous assault. Investigators say Guerrero fled L.A. after the killing and headed to OKC, taking residence with a friend from the old neighborhood.

"He lived out here for approximately six to seven months, we tracked him down here and he left the OKC area and moved to Mexico and came back to OKC," Carver said.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Guerrero's arrest.

"I actually don't need someone to testify on the murder case," Carver said. "I just need to find out where this person is."

Oklahoma County sheriffs are working with L.A. sheriffs on the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call 713-6262.
