Teen dies from hit-and-run, officials said

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- A teenage girl has died after being hit by a vehicle in Midwest City, hospital officials said. 

An unidentified vehicle hit 18-year-old Jasmine Lee and 19-year-old Rosemary Taylor at around 10 p.m. Tuesday as they walked on NE 10 St. and Woodside Dr., police said. Authorities said the driver of the vehicle did not stop to check on the girls after hitting them.

Taylor is said to be able to leave the hospital soon, hospital officials said.

No suspect description has been released yet.
