The Oklahoma County sheriff's office is considering adding a Deer Creek sub-station to serve the growing northwestern community.
The Deer Creek school board is scheduled to vote Monday on a proposal to provide office space for the sheriff's department. The board meets at 6 p.m. at the Deer Creek Public Schools East Building, 6025 NW 206.
If approved, the sheriff's office will assign 12 deputies to the station, with up to four deputies patrolling at a time, officials said.
