Woman fatally stabbed at Norman motel, police say

NORMAN, Okla. -- A woman was fatally stabbed Thursday afternoon at a Norman motel, police said.

Norman police responded to an injured person call and found the woman at Super 8 Motel, 2400 W Main St., with multiple stab wounds when they arrived on the scene.

The woman was taken to an area hospital and died shortly after. One man is currently in custody as a potential suspect, police said.
