Railroad crossing on 33 Street to be repaired

Railroad repair construction will be conducted beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday on 33 Street west of Broadway in Edmond.

EDMOND, Okla. -- Railroad repair construction will be conducted beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday on 33 Street west of Broadway in Edmond.

The portion of 33 Street near the railroad tracks will be closed to traffic as Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad works to repair damaged tracks and restore their elevation to roadway grade. The driveway surface will be smoothed out as well.

BNSF expects the repairs to be completed by Thursday evening, weather permitting.
