Checking Out a Doctor

If you're looking for any type of doctor, the state's website has a lot of useful information from where a doctor went to school to any disaplinary action he or she's faced.

Something to keep in mind, even if a doctor has had disaplinary action that doesn't mean he or she's a bad doctor.  Look at the "crime" and judge yourself.  For instance, some doctors may have had a substance abuse problem... but the website will let you know if they've finished treatment and their probation period.
