Langston University completes employee audit

LANGSTON, Okla. -- A former Langston University employee is accused of embezzling money from the school to help pay her utility bills.

Karen Matthews was fired in July when nearly $22,000 dollars came up missing.

An audit was completed this week by the university, and it also accuses Williams of using more than $4,000 to pay for her health insurance.

The audit has been turned over to the district attorney's office for review.
