Tulsa shooting results in 16-year-old arrested

A teen has been arrested in connection with the city's latest homicide.

TULSA, OK - A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection to the city's 42nd homicide of the year. 

Tulsa Police said they've arrested Demy Terrell Roberson on complaints of first-degree murder and shooting with intent to kill. 

The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. Thursday at the Comanche Park Apartments in the 1300 block of E 36 Street N.   

According to police as many as three people forced their way into a back door of an apartment at the complex.

Four to five shots were fired when one person in the apartment went for the door.  Those shots killed one man and critically injured his brother. 

Police said the homicide victim, identified as Lamont Dion Edwards, 25, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.  The other victim, Devin Edwards, 22, was shot in the neck and taken to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition. 

A woman who was also in the apartment at the time of the shooting was not injured.
