OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma Fire Marshal are investigating the arson related crime of one of the patrol's cars.
OHP Lt. George Brown said just before 2 a.m. Sunday, someone threw a concrete block through the back glass of the 2008 Dodge Charger which was parked at a trooper's residence, west of Jay.
Once the glass was broken, the suspect or suspects then set the car on fire.
The patrol car and its contents were a total loss. Damage is estimated at up to $50,000.
Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
