Police warn of imposter

OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are warning residents to be on the lookout for someone posing as a law officer.

Officers said a man posing as a police officer pulled a car over last Friday near S.W. 43rd Street and Broadway. He questioned the driver, took his wallet, then went back to his purple SUV and drove off.

Police said they think the man is targeting Latinos.  The man was carrying a fake badge but was not wearing a uniform.

Officers ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
