TULSA, Okla. -- Saturday night, two soccer teams in Tulsa honored a player who was beaten to death after a game.
Last Saturday, 16-year-old Edgar Saucedo ran out from the crowd and starting attacking Eddie Ledesma.
Ledesma, 16, played on three soccer teams, including the two teams who played Saturday night.
Before the game, the teams gathered to pray. Each team took the field with one less player each to represent their loss. Players also wore shirts with Ledesma's number-- 17.
"A lot of these guys behind us lost a very close friend, a friend they considered a family member," Coach Ryan Bush said.
Police arrested Saucedo. He's charged with second degree murder.
