DENVER -- As Colorado prepares to take on Oklahoma State, they're hoping for some extra help from a tiny teammate.

OSU is 8-2 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 play heading into this Saturday's game. A strong finish in the Cowboys' final two games, including a home date against Oklahoma, could land OSU a berth in a prestigious bowl, perhaps the Cotton or Holiday.

OSU last played in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas following the 2003 season and hasn't appeared in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego since 1988.

Holiday Bowl selection committee member Eric Graves attended the Cowboys' home game against Iowa State on Nov. 1. He says that bowl would like to have OSU, depending on how the rest of the season goes for the Cowboys.
