OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters worked Tuesday morning to knock out a fire that overtook a home and damaged another on the city's southeast side.
Firefighters said the home, 4717 Karen Street, was set ablaze by a space heater sitting too close to a mattress.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials remind everyone who uses a space heater to keep it several feet away from combustibles.
